We are happy to offer a
selection of Fitted Diapers in either an all natural Hemp or a Hemp and
Organic Cotton blend. We chose fitted diapers because they work
similarly to disposable diapers, and the ease of diapering, as well as
the way the diaper feels against baby’s skin and the environmental
impact, are of pressing importance to us.
Each Fitted diaper needs to be worn with a cover to protect against
leaks and to ensure a waterproof experience. This is an area where
SproutBaby has searched high and low to bring you the only options
available in safe, non-toxic fabrics that don’t compromise the
integrity of the product or our mission. We have chosen wool covers
because wool is the only waterproof material for diapering needs that does not contain PUL (polyurethane). PUL
is on our list of chemicals to avoid but is widely used in diapering
systems. So, we apologize for the length of time it has taken to get
cloth diapers on our site, but it was well worth the wait because we
are presenting only the safest, purest, and healthiest options around
for reusable diapers!
The liners and doublers that we have for purchase are also made from
only organic and sustainable materials. Each element of a reusable
diaper takes thoughtful decision making, since each piece has the
potential to touch baby in one of the most sensitive areas of his or
her body. The fabrics we have chosen for these inserts are bamboo and a
Hemp and Organic Cotton blend.
